Meet New Mates. Have a Laugh. Make a difference.

Moved to St Albans? Struggling to meet people outside work? That’s where we come in! St Albans Round Table has been bringing people together since 1948 and is still going strong in 2025. We’re a social club for guys aged 18–45.
We meet a couple of times a month, do all sorts of activities, and raise money for brilliant local causes – especially with our famous Santa Float each December.

What We Get Up To

From karting and axe throwing to beer festivals and escape rooms, our events are as varied as our members. Fancy something different? Suggest it! We’re always up for new ideas.

More Than Just a Social Club

We’re not just about having fun – we also give something back. Our charitable activities, especially at Christmas, support local causes by fundraising with our famous Santa Float. Keeping this long-standing tradition alive.

In December 2024 we raised over £33,800

Have you moved to St Albans for your job or just a change of scene? It can be hard to meet new people, especially in a new city. This is where we come in!

We are an events & social club for guys 18-45 with a community focus.

Our events & activities programme has something for everyone. Recently we’ve done indoor sky driving, axe throwing, karting, golf and escape rooms. We also do casual pub meets and meals out.

Last year we celebrated our 75th anniversary where we hosted guests & international Round Tables members. We held a charity auction to raise money for the local food bank.

We help staff the iconic St Albans Beer Festival – always a fun & busy night!

As a member of Round Table you can join as many events as you like, it’s up to you!

We meet up on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Mondays of each month. Work and family life permitting!

Don’t miss out – join us & do more!

St Albans Round Table Celebrating Record Year of Charities

Another thing that makes us unique is our strong connection with former members. With decades of tradition behind us, many former members still live in St Albans, and we sometimes meet up with them. They share stories of how they ran things back in the day, and we tell them what we’re up to now. It’s amazing how Round Table connects people across generations—you find yourself making friends you might not normally meet, but because of this club, you have an instant common ground.

Overall, the club is a great chance to meet new people and get involved in the community. So, if you’re new to the area and looking for a way to get out more and make new mates, give us a shout.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
